LUMIN TRP (Tropical Replacement Panel) is produced from 100% plantation grown
pruned Eucalyptus Grandis. The pruning process completed during the growth phase
of the tree ensures limited defects in the final veneer. This is a hardwood plywood
that looks and performs similar to tropical species, and critically has product and
forest certification to back up its strong credentials.
The use of Eucalyptus Grandis results in TRP panels with a rich pink/red coloured
wood that is sought after in many markets and is aesthetically similar to scarce highend tropical species such as Meranti and Okoume.
The face and back veneers are 1.5mm thickness and the core veneers are 3.2mm thicknesss making this plywood rigid and flat so that can be used both internally and for external use once suitably treated .
